Meet the Fairy - @buttacup
For anyone discovering you through Fairy Tong, could you tell us a little about yourself?
Hii I’m Danielle, I’m a princesscore fashion and homeware content creator with a love for all things whimsical and magical ✨
Where do you find inspiration for your content?
I’ve grown up watching old Disney and Barbie films so I draw a lot of inspiration from those. I’ve also found myself matching my outfits to whatever flowers are blooming at the time of year, so probably flowers too 🌸
What first drew you to Fairy Tong?
I first came across Fairy Tong on Instagram and fell in love with the whimsy of it all! The designs are so creative and dreamy, and perfect for twirling 💕
What's your favourite Fairy Tong piece, and how would you style it for a magical day out?
My favourite piece is the Butterflies in Bloom Corset Midi Dress, the fit is so flattering! I would pair with a pearl necklace, a matching pearl bag, a bow, curls and white kitten heels 🤍
What detail on your Fairy Tong dresses stood out to you the most when you first saw them in person?
The prints always stand out most to me, they’re so colourful and fun!
What makes a dress worth investing in for you?
Quality, wearability and beauty. Fairy Tong definitely ticks all these boxes for me, I am a huge fan of the cotton dresses as they’re so wearable and comfortable, but still so elegant!
What's your dream location for a photoshoot?
I love to shoot my content outdoors in Spring/Summer when the flowers are blooming, so probably somewhere in a beautiful cottage garden with rose arches and a fountain ⛲️
What’s one thing most people don’t realise about creating content?
There’s a lotttt of planning around the weather - I only ever really shoot on bright, sunny days as pictures come out far too moody, grainy and gloomy otherwise. Living in the U.K, this can get quite difficult to plan around, especially in Winter when it goes dark at 3pm hahah!
What's one fashion item you couldn't live without?
My pearl necklace! I style one with almost every outfit, pearls are so timeless and always complete a look.
What advice would you give to someone who's afraid to express their own style?
If you’re nervous, start small, e.g wear one piece of clothing that aligns with your personal style, and over time, work your way up to a full outfit. You’ll get to a place where it feels more fun rather than daunting to express yourself! I always imagine an older version of myself, who would’ve wanted me to wear the clothes I do now. Make your future self proud! ✨
